Last summer we had the pleasure of contributing in a rustic, countryside romance wedding photoshoot at Ufton Court, Berkshire. This month it has been featured in Perfect wedding magazine which we are so thrilled about, especially as it features not only Flowermonkey wedding flowers but the styling from our sister company, The Vintage Styling Company and beautiful wedding stationery from the very talented Grace and Bramble.
With the summer sun beaming down, in the surroundings of the stunning wedding barn and the fields, filled with hay bales, this beautiful shoot aimed to provide inspiration for an English countryside wedding.
For that rustic feel we combined a classic colour palatte of soft peaches, pinks, creams and pale greens, alongside hessian table runners, tree slices, twine, metal jugs and jam jars. We used beautiful roses, hydrangeas, astilbe, lavender, lisianthus, brunia, wax flower, baby's breath and ammi.
We used props from crate table plans to vintage singer sewing machines, wood slices and rustic metal jugs. We made a beautiful floral crown for one of the models to complement the rustic bouquet she was holding.
